Help the Department of Health to improve school-aged health services Do you have a child aged between three and 18? Child and Adolescent Community Health and WA Country Health Service are reviewing the community health services provided to school-aged children and across Western Australia. You are invited to complete a short survey to help them understand what is important to you, what is working well and what could be made better. For more information and to complete the survey, visit http://healthywa.wa.gov.au/Schoolhealth-services . The survey closes on Friday 8 June.

The Year 4 students from Rooms 1 & 2 travelled to Peppermint Grove Beach on Thursday 8th June to participate in tree planting, marine debris clean up and sandcastle building as part of Marine Debris and Environmental Awareness Day. Forget TV myths, it is time to see how it really happens.
The gold has been stolen and a Security Guard assaulted… but where is the loot and who was the attacker? Forensic Science has the answers! Students got to analyse the crime scene and interpret the evidence including UV detection, creating impression clues, fingerprint recording, digital microscopy, DNA modelling, code cracking and chemical testing. Students, teachers and parents took to the footpaths to walk to school from all areas of Capel. There was a lot of talking, walking and laughing and it proved to be a lovely morning to be out a about.
The year 6 students got to go to Perth to stay at Woodmans Point. They got to take part in four days of fun visits, activities and exciting encounters. Many students returned in need of some sleep, but it was agreed that the camp was a great success and some students ate enough pizza to last them a very long time.
Bug Cub is nature based play in our natural bush environment. All students have an opportunity to experience bug club and be creative, playing with natural materials in our lovely bush land.
Students from Rooms 1, 2, 3 & 4 were visited by Gold Coast Triathlete, Katey Gibb, on Friday 5th May.
