Digital Technologies
At Capel Primary school we want to be able to enhance students' ability and opportunity to interact with digital technologies to diversify their learning experiences. A strong commitment to using Technology as a learning and engagement tool is clearly evident within the school and improvements to the classroom infrastructure and the purchase of new equipment further supports the schools Technology strategy. Capel students from Year 1-6 have access to computers at a ratio of 2:1, Interactive Whiteboards in each room, iPads, a computer laboratory in the library, 3D printers, digital cameras and video cameras for class work and movie making projects.
The school has 20 Wireless access points throughout the school to provide a seamless wireless network so students can access their work on a multitude of devices. Students also have access to iPads and ccomputers from Kindy to Year 6.
