📱 Mobile Phone Policy
To support focused learning and wellbeing, mobile phones must be turned off and kept out of sight during school hours, including recess and lunch.

Student safety is our priority during periods of extreme weather, including excessive heat, or storms.

👕 Dress Code Policy
We expect all students to wear the official Capel Primary School uniform, which promotes school identity and pride while ensuring comfort and safety during learning and play.
- Uniforms must be worn during all school activities unless otherwise advised.
- Broad Brimmed Hats are required for outdoor play in months with the letter "R" in line with our “No Hat, No Play” rule.
- Shoes must be closed-toe and suitable for physical activity.
📱 Mobile Phone Policy
To support focused learning and wellbeing, mobile phones must be turned off and kept out of sight during school hours, including recess and lunch.
- Students are not permitted to use mobile phones or smart devices during school time.
- Phones brought to school must be handed in or stored securely until home time.
- Breaches of this policy will result in parent contact and possible device restrictions.
☀️ Extreme Weather Policy
Student safety is our priority during periods of extreme weather, including excessive heat, or storms.
- During high heat days, extended sun exposure and physical activity are limited.
- In stormy or wet weather, students remain in supervised undercover areas during breaks.
- Events and excursions may be postponed or modified depending on conditions.
